About The Practice

The practice comprises nine partners, six male and three female. We are based in an extended and refurbished practice building with a small car park to the rear and main entrance on to Long Street. We practise here and sometimes hold a surgery at Tetbury Hospital. Our GP registrars also assist with consultations. We feel that continuity of care is important and therefore we run a personal list service where each patient and their family or carer is allocated a named GP who they should see for all aspects of their healthcare.

Each partner provides a full range of general medical services. This means that we each deal with all areas of medicine. We are able to advise you and your family on most medical problems which you may encounter. If we feel you are in need of specialist services, we are able to arrange for appropriate referrals, both on the NHS and privately. We have strong links with many specialists at hospitals locally as well as further afield. We are fortunate in Tetbury because we have managed to bring many excellent specialists to provide services locally at Tetbury Hospital for your benefit. The practice building is furnished with a purpose-built minor operating room where we are able to undertake minor procedures.

When you need a doctor, please ask to see the doctor to whom you have been allocated. Planning a few days ahead for routine matters will usually enable you to see your usual doctor or a member of their team. However, we will always see urgent problems 'same day' and we will then add you to the telephone triage list for your named GP or the advanced practitioner, as appropriate. The receptionist will need to ask for some general details in order to direct your request to the relevant clinician, who will ring you back, usually within the hour, to discuss and assess your problem. If the Clinician feels they need to see you, they will make an appointment.

Car Park

The surgery car park is very small and space is limited. We need a large percentage of this space for clinicians - doctors, community nurses, health visitors etc - and this leaves very little space for anyone else. It would be greatly appreciated if able-bodied patients could park elsewhere in the town's car parks, leaving the small amount of space for disabled patients.

Disabled Access

This is from the car park at the rear of the building. Lavatory facilities for the disabled are also available.
